How To Make Cultured Diamonds at Home

Although this site is against the man-made production of diamonds due to the lack of quality, we thought it would be important for you to at least understand the process, so you can appreciate a natural diamond over an artificially made one.  Here's how businesses manufacture their own diamonds (WARNING: This is dangerous and should not be tried at home due to its inherent  dangers.)

Step 1:  Place 2 pieces of charcoal, covered with 2 ounces of peanut butter inside a covered, microwaveable container and microwave on high for half an hour in 10 minute increments.

Step 2:  Saturate the charcoal  with charcoal lighter fluid and then light.  If you are indoors and you attempt this, you will burn down your house.  This is very dangerous and should never be done at home.

Step 3:  Scrape away the soot and gently wash.  Similar to panning for gold, the soot will leave behind the diamonds created.
